You are so right on. It is easy to get trapped into our work when we truly enjoy what we do. And we both truly enjoy what we do, how exciting is that.

But if we don’t take the time to really enjoy our family and enjoy why we do the work we do…. others will never be able to prosper and grow with us. Not only does your family want you, but you also want your own pleasures to give you the positive energy to keep going.

Enjoy your work, enjoy your family, enjoy your life … you deserve it all!

Thanks for the great tips Lyn-Dee. It is so important to make sure that you are making the most of everyday, because you are right, you never know how many days you have left. Getting organized is so important for making sure that you accomplish as much as possible with each day. I think that one that I need to focus a little more is separating my business life and my personal life. I am enjoying what I am doing so much right now and I am really excited about the goals that I am working towards that it is hard to take some days off. I need to make sure that my family still knows that they are what matters to me the most though.

Lyn-Dee, I came over to read one post and spent ages going through your amazing blog!

This Goddess has never had trouble with making lists – seriously, my life is an endless post-it note! – but it’s the Deadlines, and more importantly, getting things done BY those deadlines that has held me in limbo for years.

Drowning in a swamp of unfinished projects.

But your suggestion of Delegating ~ hmm now there’s a thought! You mean, I don’t have to do everything myself??!!

The Goddess is going to work on this one ~ and has a sneaky feeling she’ll be seeing a lot less post-it notes!

Kimberly, bravo on your words of experience. I know one of the most challenging things for me to do was to delicate, but once I figured out what was the most important part of any project which are the results …. everything else didn’t matter and of course I needed to keep my nose out of the project once I delicated it. hahaha

Live a good happy life and allow the results to happen for you and with you, not alone in a corner of frustration!

I love your step by steps! That makes so many things in life much easier to tackle! I agree about #3 being Delicate! hehe Delegating out our tasks can be daunting but as you said, if we focus on results not procedures, the results can be rapid! Great stuff (and I’m still giggling over the orangutan! He looks as confused as a pile of unfinished tasks can make me feel!)
