WOW! When your daughter can write something so powerful and to add to the already said, "You can Do it", it just makes me realize that everything I have ever been through, there was truly a reason!
Sica, you are an amazing women who truly shines and brightens up our lives! I love you.... mom

When I was in an abusive relationship it was extremely hard to open up to other people and talk about what was going on behind doors. Believe me when I say it wasn’t a topic of discussion that I would prefer to have with my family, friends, or coworkers. What made things worse is constantly being questioned about a low self esteem or marks that may have been on my arms or body. It’s easy for everyone to judge you on your reactions and no one knows how hard it really is to walk away from an abusive relationship.

Having someone like Lyn-Dee to talk to made things so much easier and helped me understand that I do deserve better. She has helped guide me on the right path and I can promise anyone that needs someone to talk to, someone who knows what its like to be judged therefore will not judge YOU, a person to lean on, someone to give you faith and reassurance that there is a light at the end of every tunnel– look no further. I have been blessed not only to have a coach like Lyn-Dee, but also have her as my very own mother. I can tell you, without her guidance and warm welcoming words– I wouldn’t have made out of certain relationships alive. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times.

Its NEVER to late to walk away and begin healing. Don’t look at the time you spent wasted, look at it as if it were another chapter in a book. Identify your challenges, learn how to avoid them in the future, and grow into a much bigger, better, and stronger person.

Its going to hurt like hell as you are healing, but know that it’ll only get better with time.
