Thanks for your input. It is so sad that we walk around with blinders on and don’t take time to appreciate the nice things that are done for us. I can’t wait to share with you a hat that i have created. I call it my Happy Hat and it has pins of different positive actions that people take and when I come across someone, anyone that is doing one of these things, I take the pin off my hat and give it to them along with a little red heart, so they can smile and know they have been appreciated! I had created this hat 3 days ago, and I am sad to say, I haven’t been able to give anyone a pin, (except my husband). I though it would be so easy to give these pins out, but you know what … to many of us are wearing blinders….
I am glad you are laughing and giving and when we do meet in person, I bet you will be receiving one of those pins. :O)

Love this post. unfortunately I run into this kind of rudeness more and more everyday. I just don’t get it either! I would say that maybe it is the new generation but as you stated they were middle aged! – No excuse! Anyway – you are right you just have to laugh it off and go to the next “appreciative” person.

You are right on the money when you said do unto others as they would do unto you. It’s refreshing to see and hear people do the little things like open the doors for others. I do this often and have set the example for my kids to do this.

I most definitely agree about teaching the next generation how to be respective and appreciative.
